The Atlantic Restaurant

We are writing this review to express our disappointment with our recent experience. We arrived at 6:30 PM and were able to grab a bar table. Our waitress, who was also tending the customers at the bar, came to our table and took our drink order along with the flambé sausage appetizer around 6:45 PM. The appetizer arrived at 7:03PM, at which point we placed our dinner order. We ordered two meals: the Polvo Grelhado (octopus) and a steak sandwich with onions. About 35 minutes later, we were informed that our order had been misplaced and, unfortunately, they were now out of the octopus. We were asked to choose another item, so we ordered the Bitoque (steak with egg and fries). We then waited another 45 minutes. At 8:25PM, our meals finally arrived. Drove from nyc to my friends bday and it was so worth it. Quality of food was spectacular. Food tasted super fresh, flavor was spot on and service was amazing. Would definitely love to come back!

Recently dined here and the food and service were superb. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was courteous and kind. We enjoyed a perfectly made octopus. My wife says it was the best she had. Definitely worth it and a must go for Portuguese cuisine.

Went here on a friend's recommendation and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted by one of the new owners, Antonio, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We chatted for a bit they've only been open for about a month and are still working on their decor but the atmosphere was already warm and inviting. They brought complimentary bread and olives to the table, which was a lovely added touch, especially since many restaurants charge for this. The food was authentic Portuguese and absolutely delicious. I ordered the flamed chorizo, which was excellent, and my husband had the octopus. It was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. We will definitely be coming back with the whole family.

The service was excellent and the waitresses were very kind and attentive. The food was amazing as well. I would definitely come back!
