Burnt end sandwich and brisket sandwich were TERRIFIC! Split pea soup AMAZING! Everything else we tried was good, too! Bit of a "dive" - but the food was worth it!!

What a fantastic throwback!! Beat valued barbecue in San Diego. Tucked in a small shopping center from the 80s. This place looks like you stepped back into the 60s. Clean and nostalgic. The brisket sandwich is stacked. The pork rib special on Saturday is the way to go. Friendly staff that takes care of business. Don't miss out!!

I feel like I’ve been going here my whole life, and they’ve always been consistently good. QUICK service and plenty of seating inside. They have great bbq sauce (I judge places based on their sauces). It’s a really unique restaurant when it comes to decor, we don’t have many places nearby like it.

If you like GOOD BBQ and descent portions THIS IS THE PLACE!! The brisket was tender and delicious 😋 SERIOUSLY good Family owned & operated with a phenomenal reputation of REAL BBQ!! For those who don't eat meat, the baked beans, potato salad and other non meat items are JUST as good!! Definitely one of my go to for BBQ!! You won't be disappointed 👍🏼👌🏼💯💥

Best BBQ in San Diego area. Prices are still reasonable. Eat in or take out. Closed Sunday. Been eating here for over 50 years! Try it... you'll love it!
