The Beehive Cafe

Bernie and his wife (chef) are amazing restaurant owners. They are hospitable and truly care about the customer. We found this place for lunch after finishing up with Fossil Rim safari and on our way back to Dallas. This restaurant is a gem. Small menu but everything tasted great—quality ingredients for sure. If we ever come back to Glen Rose then we’ll def come back here. We had the quesadilla, shrimp tacos (off menu) and they were delicious.

We stopped here on our way home from Dinosaur Valley State Park, and this place is an absolute gem! We ordered several dishes to share, and every single one was outstanding. The microgreen salad and the wings were especially incredible—truly to die for. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. Easily a 10/10 and a must-stop if you’re in the area!

I randomly stopped in on a Wednesday for lunch by myself. I was told it was Burger Wednesday, so I went ahead and ordered one. Great choice! Hand-formed patty with the perfect amount of char on a toasted brioche bun with all the fixings. I’m usually not a fan of hand cut fries, but these were seasoned and delicious! My waitress was great! Friendly and fast. I can’t wait to bring my kids soon.

The food was soo good! We had four dishes and every one of them were delicious. The fries with the nuggets and the nuggets had just the right amount of seasoning. They were very good. The food took time to prepare but it’s because they prepare for order which is the best. If need to have patience. They had a great service and it’s a home like experience. It’s like you are eating in a home. Totally recommend
