We found this hidden gem on TikTok and it did not disappoint. It tasted great & was filling. The consomme was tasty and not too thick. I paid about $30 for a fresh squeezed watermelon guava limeade with 4 full size birria tacos, limes included and consomme.I tried 2 beef and 2 chicken. My daughter had the chicken birria quesadilla and it was good size. Filling as well. Not far from downtown, med center and the museum district. I think they go to different locations so you probably want to look them up on social media before driving to the Almeda location. Cute little table setup along with various games while you wait. I'll definitely go back to try other options. I believe they also have shrimp and vegan options.

My sister in law highly recommended this food truck so we gave it a try. After reading reviews, we tried the sampler that came with 2 birria tacos (we chose shrimp and chicken), quesadilla (we chose chicken) and a grilled cheese sandwich (we chose beef) for my husband, son and I to share. I added 2 beef birria tacos. Let’s start with the birria tacos. The beef was the star of the show. The beef is seasoned to perfection as well as the dipping sauce. The taco was delicious by itself and then you add the sauce/consume…perfection. I personally preferred the green sauce as it had a bit of spice to it which was a nice flavor addition. The shrimp taco was ok but wasn’t as flavorful as the Beef. Same for the chicken. Good but not as flavorful. The grilled cheese with beef…so good! Dipped that in

I love Birria Queen when the order is right — the food can be great, amazing even. Notice I said when the order is right. Unfortunately, my partner and I receive the correct order 50% of the time. While they fix each mistake, it often turns into a process. Who wants to reorder food 50% of the time. Last night, I ordered vegan tacos with regular cheese and received vegan cheese instead. Even after showing the receipt, the staff member insisted the order was correct. They offered to “remake”, well the “remake “ ended up being regular cheese added on top of vegan cheese, which tasted off. Imagine spending $30.30, for (4) jackfruit tacos that tasted like the chemicals from vegan cheese mixed with a weird slimy texture of the two cheeses, combining. Eeeeeyyycckkk!! After years of this I am of

The food, the atmosphere, the customer service the whole experience was outstanding. We drove from Spring, almost The Woodlands, to try this food. We were here almost an hour before they opened because we HAD to eat this food today. On the way out, we wanted a picture in front of the truck. Never did we expect the owner to come out and take one with us. She’s so friendly and so down to earth. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend. Let me not forget, our bill was only a reflection of us wanting to leave with food for tomorrow as well.

Ordered the Vegan Birra Tacos, but they didn’t have the vegan cheese. No discount provided and the tacos were lacking. Vegan tea cake thin, but taste good. Watermelon guava lemonade pretty good as well. Good seating area fr warmer weather.
