The Blue Dog Saloon

Visited just after Christmas, they know how to decorate for the season! We'll done Blue Dog Saloon! Arrived at opening on a Saturday night and there were four cars of folks waiting ... 30 mins in the place was hopping. Diana was a lovely server, always on her game. Food was tasty and the beer was ice cold. Loved our visit. Will be coming back even though they're out of the way. Cheers!

The Blue Dog Saloon is always a special treat! I absolutely love their crab cake salad and their orange crushes…hands down the best thing ever. 🍊🥗 One of my favorite spots in Southern Maryland for a laid-back, delicious meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the drinks are always on point. I’ve heard their pizza is amazing too, but I haven’t had the chance to try it yet (on my list for next time!). If you’re in the Port Tobacco area, this spot is a must-visit.

Had great service by Amanda, food was amazing, had a little wait for our meal but the owner Gary came over and apologized and made it up to us. Overall if you get a chance try it out you won't be disappointed.

Always a delicious and delightful dining experience at The Blue Dog! Locally owned and operated. They have a solid regular menu and a delicious rotation of specials that keep things interesting new. Seasonal creme brulees are always to die for. They do have outdoor seating when the weather is nice. No wait on weeknights but you definitely need a reservation on weekends! The menu appears a little pricey at first glance, but once you get your food you realize nothing is overpriced. Love this place!

Decided to go out for a family meal here for the first time and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was just right and very family friendly. Our service was terrific and very accommodating. The food was excellent, ive been craving a prime rib steak and they nailed it. Will definitely be coming back soon.
