The Blue Store dba Triplet's Food Mart

From the outside, I thought the store was closed. The surrounding parking spots were all full. I was told to order the wings, and they did not disappoint. The wings were fried to perfection. I think they put salt and pepper on them. I do not know what other solicited are added. Located across the street from the back side of Southern University's campus.

The food quality has diminished greatly. This used to be my "go-to" location, but now not so much.

If traveling through or to the Baton Rouge Scotlandville area, The Blue Store on Mills is a must, trust me. The food is always hot & fresh as well as the consistency in flavor to satisfy your tastebuds for southern fried chicken wings, seasoned to perfection potato wedges, plus more. Customer service can be better by smiling more & being more engaged with the customers yet overall this place gets 4 & 3/4 ⭐'s, a hidden gem 💎!!!
