The Boat House

My experience at The Boat House was wonderful, and the biggest reason was my server Caitlin. From the moment she came to the table, she was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made the entire evening feel welcoming and relaxed. It’s rare to come across someone who provides service with that level of care and positivity. The food was also delicious I had the cedar teriyaki salmon which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the fried calamari to start. But truly, Caitlin’s outstanding service is what made the night memorable. Thank you Caitlin for going the extra mile you made the experience!

A must try in Amelia Island. The food is phenomenal. Don’t skip the gumbo. Staff is great. The porch is full of cute dogs. It’s a perfect mixture of great food and a casual atmosphere while feeling like high quality dining. Highly recommend!

The food is consistently good, and the bar service has been great. However, the customer service outside of the bar has been very disappointing on multiple visits. On both occasions, the host at the stand was rude. Additionally, Kristen refused to allow us to move just one of the three outdoor heaters to the bar ledge. As shown in the photo, there were three heaters for two people, yet they would not move one heater 5 feet for four paying customers. We specifically came to watch the musician and planned to stay for several hours. We also ordered food, yet no accommodation was made. At the time, hardly anyone else was seated outside, and the restaurant was not busy. Despite this, staff showed no concern for customer comfort given the weather. Lucky lucky. New Year’s Day and we got a table. As they don’t do reservations, or call ahead. You have to arrive and wait. But they have multiple bars to grab a drink while you wait, They also have live music and the food was delicious

Defintely recommend. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a party of 6 on a Saturday night & the wait was only 15 minutes. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job as well.
