Definitely one of the better meals in the area. Everything has nice flavors compared to the majority of restaurants around the villages area. Atmosphere is a woodsy brewery type of feel. Rustic, modern, clean vibe. There are two large areas to B&B. One side is more of the restaurant and smaller bar side, while the other room has a larger horseshoe bar and some seating. The larger bar space is more for the night bar screen with the occasional live music. We have gone with out two smaller kids so we have not been privy to the live music. Service- we have been twice and on both occasions, we have had terrific service. Very nice staff, who check on you, keep your drinks full and interact with us customers. Great team both times we have gone. Food- delicious and flavorful. We have been twice
The food here is mediocre. It doesn’t taste bad, but for the prices it’s not impressive or good either. I got the pineapple chicken which was marked as a favorite. It was dry and just not that great. The rice tasted like it was premade from a package. The grilled pineapples were good and a nice touch. The brussel sprouts had good flavor, but need to be cooked a little longer. For crispy sprouts they were quite soft and small compared to most sprouts. The servers were nice but I found myself spending quite a bit of time waiting to be greeted, waiting to place my order and for my check. Ambiance is the best part of the experience. Cute place well laid out, indoor and outdoor seating. The looks and ambiance gave me hope the place would be better than it was. I hope they can sort out some of t
I went with a large group , 40 people. The person in charge of this luncheon confirmed with Brick and Barrel at 4 pm the previous day to make sure they could accommodate us. We reset for two hours with basically one person serving 40 people. My table of three. planned on ordering the three different flatbreads to share. When the waiter finally came to take out order, he said there was no flatbread or any steaks. We ordered chicken sandwiches. My row of tables were served not too long after that, however, the rest of the ladies waited at least another half hour before they got their food. Some people did get steak and flatbreads after where we were told there was none. The person in charge of this luncheon went to the manager, and he said “we do not apologize“.one of our ladies was served
After 2 years of patronage i noticed extremely inconsistent entrée quality. I must have ordered 10 Mahi sandwiches and over half were good, good portion, put together right, but last night, wow, was like eating the bark from a swamp oak. Im exaggerating of course, but it was dry, and over cooked. The fixings were precariously thrown on, no tartar sauce which couldn't save it even if i dipped the whole sandwich in a tub of tartar nor any lemon. Its like they didnt care. Why be in the service biz if what you serve sucks. If management is reading reviews, which they should please install a $50 water filter to improve taste. Furthermore our food arrived 30 mins after ordering. No one at our table had a complicated order. My wife's fish and chips were huge but surprisingly most of the fish cons
Restaurant was good overall. Appetizers were great, entrées were good. Only complaint was that I ordered the ribeye medium, came out rare, ok not a big deal but there was no flavor in or on the meat. Good thing salt and pepper was on the table. Almost went for the A1 but can't desecrate the cow for the cooks lack of flavor. Waitress was way over booked. Had to walk to the bar to get our own refills on soda and water but managers fault not hers. Brussel Sprouts were good but Long Horn does it better as well as the steak.
