Overall a solid sushi and omakase spot, but pricey. We did the middle tier omakase and it was a good amount of food. The tempura fish was a highlight for me. I thought the fish was good but nothing mind-blowing, and personally I found the nigiri to have too much rice per piece. Ambiance was good, and the chefs were fun to watch. We got an anniversary dessert which was really nice!
Nestled right next to Trader Joe’s in Downtown Culver City, Brothers Sushi is a casual restaurant with attentive and friendly servers and sushi chefs. The fish quality is exceptional and fresh. Their delicious miso soup is a MUST TRY! The lunch menu has a wide variety ranging from sushi to bento boxes. Hands down Brothers Sushi is worth the splurge. If you have room for more after your meal, their desserts are light, not incredibly sweet and refreshing. We will definitely come back. Thank you, Brothers Sushi 🍣 🍱
Really great lunch Bday experience at this very very good sushi restaurant. Super High Quality fish and a strong menu. Location is central, parking right behind the restaurant. What stood out was the very good food by far. Super fresh and sooooo tasty. There are a ton of choices on the menu and no real overlap of dishes. Some of my favorites and some good new ones. Host was incredibly nice and server was good. Lunch prices are good - did not go for the Omakase, but did the $55 bowl. We ordered a lot and had sake and alcohol so the bill was decent. 5 stars!
Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Decided to go all-out and try the omakase meal. Lots of delicious dishes with unique tastes and textures. The only part I forgot to photograph was the soup, which was clam miso soup. I can’t say I loved every piece of fish, but I’m glad we tried it anyway as we never would have tasted this food otherwise. Altogether the meal was filling and the service was top notch. Would recommend if you have a thick wallet.
I discovered this restaurant via INKIND app and got a 20% discount + a $25 birthday credit. The two of us arrived earlier and shared these dishes: -Yellowtail collar. Good portions. -Salmon skin salad. Very generous with the crispy salmon skins! -Shrimp tempura (2 shrimps +veges) -Truffle fries. Look at those big homecuts pieces. I think it was a special potato, not the usual American fries. -Unagi (eel) roll -Uni appetizer -Sake. Very, very good. Then I had the 5 piece chef's choice sushi. Remember, no sauce for chef's specials. They already add everything to enhance the nigiri. Just put the whole piece in your mouth and experience the complex textures and flavors. I thought the 5-piece was a very good deal. Plus 2 orders of nigiri. I had to try the dry-aged sashimi/nigiri. The "dry-a
