The Cabin Restaurant

First time in the restaurant and dined in. I ordered steak 🥩 but was given a big slab of burger. I was disappointed and told them I didn’t order ground beef I wanted steak. You cannot confuse me with food I’m a foodie I know what I want. I asked them to give me a real piece of meat steak and they did. I wasn’t rude or anything I just didn’t expect to be given that kind lol. If I wanted a burger 🍔 I would’ve ordered burger. It’s obviously not a steak they should change the description of that menu item if that’s the case. Don’t dupe me with something I didn’t ask for and cover it with sauces and mountain of sides. Anyway, they were nice enough to change it the way I asked. I appreciated that. Thank you for your service and kind understanding!

A wonderful restaurant that feels rustic, homey, and wonderfully up to date. The service was wonderful. We went on Valentines day and had nearly no wait! We both had twp different pastas and they were delicious. As shown in the picture we took them home to eat later!

The food is fantastic and the service really kind. We love the place.

We almost didn’t go is as the outside is in desperate need of power washing the roof, awning and stone work. But glad we did as once inside, it is rustic, casual, clean and just great with pizza oven, stone work and great ambiance. Food top notch too, with large portions, specials and plenty of options. PLEASE don’t change a thing but do yourself a favor and clean the outside. Thanks!!

A great option for American food in the area. Had a good lunch here. The portions are bigger than I expected - plenty of people asked for take away boxes. The soup of the day was clam chowder and was delicious, as was the cream of crab soup. Standout of the meal was the buffalo wings. Blackened salmon salad was cooked beautifully and the burger cooked medium was perfect. The one small critique was that the food was not fully salted or seasoned - lacking a bit of depth. Looking around at the older clientele I suppose it wasn’t that surprising. Go for large portions of good food!
