My name is Calogero and I do Hundreds of restaurant reviews all over Long Island and I got to tell you this place just opened up 2 Weeks ago on 730 Smithtown bypass Smithtown New York and it's called "the Chas restaurant" . Everybody was so friendly I met both the managers Oscar and Pasquale and also the waiter David was excellent he knew the special menu by heart he didn't have to look on a list and the food was really nice they served us bread with butter and olive oil in the beginning and we ordered crab cakes , lentil soup, goat cheese and beet salad and Home made brisket ravioli and everything was superb. This was on Sunday March 22nd and the place was packed I couldn't believe they had beautiful valet parking and the bathrooms were spotless and that's what I look for in a restaura

My wife and I went to Chas last night. We started with the sushi which was excellent. We ordered the porterhouse medium. When the waiter brought it out it came out rare. The waiter took it back and when they brought it back it was seared some places, rare in others and overall inedible. The managers came over and apologized. They offered to get us a new steak, which came out rare, agan. My wife and I changed our order and then we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for our new food to come out. You would think that managers from Restaurants such as Tellers, Prime, Delfrisco would have offered dessert/coffee on the house, but they did not.

Stopped in to try The Chas for the first time last night. The ambiance was fantastic! My husband and I sat at the bar and the food was phenomenal, Would recommend the Chicken Palliard! The service at the bar was by far the best. It was a very packed Saturday night with one bar tender, but he was on TOP of things. Our food came out quickly and our drinks were phenomenal! The bartender made the whole experience a delight, and he was on top of our drinks ensuring we were never waiting! I would absolutely recommend! Thank you for such a great dining experience!

I recently dined at The Chas and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was truly delicious—I ordered the branzino, and it was perfectly prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was just as impressive. Our waiter Jeff was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind, creating a welcoming and relaxed dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of without it ever feeling overbearing. As for the atmosphere, it’s simply gorgeous. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with an elegant yet comfortable vibe that makes it perfect for both a special night out or a relaxed dinner. Overall, the place is a standout.
