The Cherry Pit

Hubby and I popped in for the fist time for lunch today. We started off with the cheese curds. They were inedible. They we so soaked with grease that it was seeping out of the basket. The marinara that came with it was fantastic though. I ordered the grilled cheese and hubby had the tenders. The tenders were actually pretty good and the fries were on point. However I was disappointed that the grilled cheese was made from processed cheese slices and not real cheese. This is such a groovy location and the staff was great, just wish the food matched.

It was mine and my wife's first time dining here tonight. The service was great. The atmosphere was really cool and the food especially the burgers we had were fantastic! I love a good smashburger and these were perfect. The french fries were really crispy and delicious. We will definitely be back for sure.

We decided to come here as we wanted to try something new (Kings Mountain residents) and we were blown away! We waited five minutes for a table which was great considering it's Valentine's day. The food was the best we've had in any restaurant. We got the Pit Burger, Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and Corn Nuggets. Outstanding food and service! 5/5 and will be back soon!

Absolutely love this place! Everyone is always super friendly and great service! We’ve ate here multiple times and had a variety of options and they have all been great! My personal favorite is the fried salmon patties! They are fantastic! Lots of seating inside and outside on the heated patio. Never waited too long even on the weekends.

Fantastic burgers! The fried cheese curds are delicious. And the grilled brussel sprouts are also great. The wings are tasty, too. And there's a good selection of beers & mixed drinks.
