The Chimney House - Grill & Cafe

We discovered Chimney House during a recent stay in the area, and we're very glad we did. The food, presentation and service were all outstanding. Of all the great dishes we had, the Churrasco Chimichurri steak topped the list. It was one of the best tasting pieces of sirloin I've ever had. The seafood dishes were great also. The Grilled Chimichurri Shrimp Skewer plate, the Grilled Rainbow Trout and the Peruvian Jalea were all very good. I do wish the Jalea came with more than one scallop though, because it was the highlight of that dish. Bottom line, next time we're in Fort Lauderdale we'll be back fo sure.

Stopped in before the theatre and to celebrate a birthday. Gabrielle took great care of us at a cozy outdoor table set for seven. I'd love to return. This is a very cozy place and I enjoyed the food

We are season ticket holders at Broward Theater. We always enjoy dining at The Chimney House! They feature the Pre Theatre Prix Fixe which features an appetizer, main course and dessert at an unbelievable price! Tonight I had the Chicken Tortilla Soup which featured fresh chunks of avocado! In one word, DELICIOUS! For my entree I had the Chimichurri Shrimp skewers with peppers and onions, which was accompanied by yellow Spanish style rice and perfectly prepared maduros! The entire meal was served piping hot and was just delicious! The staff including the owners were attentive and friendly! This is definitely our go to for pre theatre! LOVED IT!

Our friends recommended this place and oh my goodness was it good!! Friendly staff, they even let me use their washroom after we went outside waiting for our uber and they were closed and already mopped the floors 🥹 Amazing food (we all 4 ordered this steak & rice dish thingy), I think it was called lomo soemthing?

We went for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at the chic interior and cozy exterior ambiance. Food was all very fresh. Salad, ceviche, maduros, and the steak was perfection! Our waitress was phenomenal. Kind, professional, and smiled the entire time. Prices were fair because of the quality of food and drinks. Looking forward to returning soon.
