Stumbled on this spot on a busy Sunday morning. The menu is packed with great dishes and they have just about anything you can think of to customize any dish. The have decent coffee, and some great specialty coffees (try the vanilla iced latte served in a mason jar). As a Philly guy, I appreciated the fact they had Habersett scrapple and Taylor Pork roll on the menu. While I chose to have a 3 egg omelette with scrapple, bacon and pork roll which was delicious and I absolutely loved, my family tlchose to try the eggs Benedict and won for best dish of the morning. One traditional on a muffin, and one over sourdough toast which was fantastic. Service was friendly, but extremely busy, and the place is very small, with tables packed in tight with little room to move. At first the atmosphere is
Oh my gosh, Lavazza coffee, very fresh fruit and excellent sourdough and eggs! Had egg white vegetable omelet. Do not miss this great fresh breakfast/lunch place, family friendly, clean! In a restored building. Many options, fast service. The back room where I was is quiet. Such a pleasure!
Awesome service and food, place is very cozzy and comfortable. Great place for breakfast. Just be patient to wait for a table since many people like to go there, but the hosts are super attentive and organized with waiting customers. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
A nice first time experience. Great food and very attentive service served with a smile. We had the "Classic" bacon platter with poached eggs and bagel, and a Nutella strawberry stuffed toast. The decor is spartan, seats are hard, but you're not supposed to stay long. The walls have seen better days, but I guess that comes with an old building and is supposed to add to the charm? Or something... We sat in the area toward the restroom, which was very loud and it was very hard to have a conversation. This is definitely a place to return to, just to see if a different seating area could be more inviting.
Ordered the butter milk pancakes. These things were so chewey my GF couldn’t even cut them with a steak knife. What a waste to $8.25. My pork roll sammich on the other hand was delicious, but lastly the Home fries……beware, they are deep fried. The Menu didn’t specify that.
