Absolutely loved my experience at Clove Garden Indian Restaurant! I first tried their Shrimp Biryani (extra spicy) as takeout, and it was honestly the best shrimp biryani I’ve ever had from an Indian restaurant in New Jersey. The flavor, spice level, and quality were just perfect—I was truly impressed. Because of that amazing biryani, we decided to visit again for their lunch buffet, and it did not disappoint. There was a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, all fresh and full of flavor. The masala dosa, garlic naan, and mango lassi included in the buffet were excellent highlights. All were delicious 😋 Beautiful floral atmosphere 🌸🌺🪻💐 The food quality, taste, and excellent customer service made the experience even better. Reasonable price(affordab

We visited Clove Garden on Valentine’s Day for dinner and had a pleasant first experience. Located in the middle of a residential neighborhood on Ryders Lane, this relatively new restaurant (about six months old) offers a warm and inviting ambience—the ceiling decorated with bright, colorful flowers really adds a nice touch. The food tasted good and the prices were reasonable, which makes it an appealing option for casual dining. Service could have been a bit better, but considering how busy the restaurant was for Valentine’s Day dinner, the staff seemed understandably overwhelmed while trying their best to keep up. Overall, it was a nice dining experience, and I would recommend trying Clove Garden at least once, especially if you are looking for a cozy neighborhood Indian restaurant.

I recently visited this Indian restaurant and had a wonderful experience! The place has a cool vintage vibe with lovely flowery décor, making it perfect for family outings or hanging out with friends. The menu offers a wide variety of South Indian, North Indian, and Indo-Chinese options, so there’s something for everyone. What I Tried Appetizers:
Gobhi Manchurian, Chicken Tandoori Main Course:
Chicken Curry, Malai Kofta, Garlic Naan Desserts:
Rasmalai, Moong Dal Halwa Drinks:
Mango Lassi, Masala Soda Overall, the food was delicious, the ambience was inviting, and the service was great. Definitely a place I’d recommend and visit again!

The Clove Garden in East Brunswick, NJ offers a mixed dining experience. Some dishes stand out more than others. The biryani was flavorful and well cooked, with good portion sizes and balanced spices. The potato fritters were also enjoyable, crispy on the outside and soft inside, making them a nice starter. However, not everything was equally strong. The mango lassi, for example, could use some improvement. It lacked the richness and freshness typically expected and felt a bit watered down compared to other places. Overall, The Clove Garden has potential and delivers well on certain classic dishes, but a bit more consistency across the menu would make the experience better.

Really, truly fantastic Indian food! The goan curry was so tender and flavourful, the eggplant bartha was delicious, and I will be dreaming about that garlic naan for a long time. The room is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We stopped here by chance in the middle of a long road trip and now we're trying to figure out when we'll get the excuse to come back and eat here again!
