The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

If you like your coffee super strong and packed with high caffeine content, this place won’t disappoint. I ordered a large iced latte and wasn’t expecting it to be so intense — I only made it through half! That said, it had a rich aroma and great flavor. Definitely a solid pick-me-up if you need a serious caffeine boost.

I really enjoyed the coffee here, and the line wasn’t too long. Most airport coffees are usually rushed and watered down, so I didn’t have high expectations. The espresso in the latte was strong, which I like. This location is even pricier than starbucks. I paid about $10 for a regular size iced cookie butter latte. For that I give it 4 stars.

Stopped by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at LAX Terminal 1 and had a great experience thanks to Eric. He was attentive, helpful, and kept things moving smoothly. Excellent service.

$10 for espresso and milk? That’s absurd. Also, this is not a “classic flat white”. A flat white does not come in a 16oz cup. I wasn’t interested in paying for 14oz of milk. Although the espresso is so burned that I’m glad there’s that much milk in it.

I was really disappointed with my experience at the coffee shop in the airport. The Carmel Macchiato I ordered was the worst coffee I've had in a while. It lacked the rich flavor and smooth texture I expected. The drink was overly sweet, and the caramel taste was artificial. The service was also quite slow, making it a frustrating experience overall. I wouldn't recommend this coffee shop to fellow travelers looking for a satisfying coffee break.
