More than just a convenient pit stop, this hidden gem travel plaza hides a culinary hotspot serving, perhaps, the best comfort food on the road. The onsite restaurant surprises travelers with incredible, savory burgers, freshly made, flavorful pizzas, and hearty, stacked sandwiches. It is a welcoming, high-quality dining experience that elevates a simple rest break into a must-visit destination.
My husband and I stopped by yesterday 2.25.2025!around 3:30pm. We just LOVE this place. I had the best experience being waited on by Brooke. What a pleasant experience. She was so polite about me asking so many questions (I’ve never been here before) The pretzels are FANTASTIC & those homemade chips you recommend delicious. This is definitely a place we will stop in again. Honestly, I didn’t have an opportunity to explore more, and they offer so much. The food, coffee & dessert selection is endless. If you haven’t stopped, you should!
for years I always considered this to simply be 'the rest stop with the NH liquor store' ... but WOW, it is SO MUCH MORE! yes, they have convenient and clean restrooms, but they also have the BEST highway coffee you could hope to find. seriously, I'm mad it took me this long to discover how flavorful this stuff is! also, ever had one of those wimpy, skimpy sad gas station sandwiches because you're driving to a trailhead In the wee hours of the morning and it's the best option you can get? NOT HERE -- in the deli/convenience store, just grab a wonderful $6 sandwich and thank yourself when you're eating it on top of a mountain with a kick ass view! this is a great sandwich, and is now my go-to for every hike! they also have great breakfast sandwiches and plenty of other food and beve
Thank you to the lady who offered me two extra croissant because I mentioned the two I bought were too cold. I didn’t have money to tip her but I will do that next time. Getting a breakfast in my autumn trip to white mountains was made more special by her. Thank you so much for being so kind. The vibe in the general store makes you feel that you entered NH from congested Boston. Nice place to stop by!
Delicious food and very fast service. Incredible selection. These folks have it figured out.
