The Copper Mine Restaurant

This place has great food and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Calamari was 10/10, and that says something because I live near the ocean. Would definitely return.

Recently reopened after being closed for a LONG time as an American steak place. Decided to try it out as we have a condo right across from the street, and we can walk. The place was basically empty except for a back room. The decor was not changed or updated from the original restaurant. The staff were all friendly but seemed like fish out of water; not comfortable with what they were doing and extremely slow. We had a young child with us and asked to have her food brought out as soon as possible while we ordered appetizers, but they brought out appetizers and no food for our granddaughter who was starving by this point. There was no bread offered at all so we ordered bruschetta which looked like sliced Wonder Bread from the Food Lion slathered with some balsamic sauce that was so salty w

Came here on a whim while staying in Wintergreen resort, and was pleasantly surprised, everyone was soooo nice and pleasant!! My husband and I both got the Friday prime rib, and it was really good, the vegetables were hot and cooked perfectly! I was a lil nervous when we sat down because of the other reviews, but they didn’t disappoint :)

The bartender is the best part of the experience, and sole reason why I’m giving 5 stars. Food is mediocre, at best. Old Man Wintergreen at the bar is a must meet!

The food here was horrible and did not taste good the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was good the food came out fast and was not good at all. Cheese in the cheese ravoly was horriable tasting didn’t eat any of it.
