The Cottage Barn - Clarksville, VA

This little store was more than I expected, when I saw the front.I thought it was just going to be a simple ice cream shop. But I was amazed when I also saw that there was appliances there as well and good ones at that. I love the decor of the shop as well as the ones that they sell. They have so many different varieties of toys. Many of them leaning towards a christian aspect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great and I would definitely come back again.

There are not too many places where you can check out the latest washers and dryers (a hobby of mine) and also eat the finest ice cream on the planet- blueberry cheesecake flavor please step forward! If you can't make the trek to Homestead Creamery in Wirtz, VA- the birthplace of the Barn's cream, then grab yours here @ the Barn! Ice cream does not get any better than the blueberry cheesecake flavor! If you're allergic to blueberries or cheesecake eat it anyway! I can't think of a better way to go! Death by deliciousness...and hey, if this is a summertime only flavor, fear not, their butter pecan ice cream is a year-round awesome option. Great experience all-around. Wonderful employee served us Strawberry Cheesecake, Espresso and Pineapple-Coconut ice creams. They were really good. I particularly enjoyed browsing through the assortment of Christian/faith-based merchandise. It was a highlight. We had a really great time. Looking forward to trying more ice cream flavors and some savory foods next trip. Great business. Keep up the good work!

Adorable place! I stopped in and got the BEST chicken salad I believe I’ve ever had! The staff were wonderful and polite. I would highly recommend this place! Lots of local art as well!
