MEGA JALAPEÑO BABY! If you are looking for great Hamburgers. I’d suggest you try The Counter. First: Easy to park, Ocean Park Courtyard has surface parking and underground parking, so no stress. Second: Awesome service, usually happy servers. Last time I went Timothy was our server and he did very good. Third: Hamburgers are massive. I ordered the Jalapeño Burger, and my gf customized hers. My favorite place for a burger and shake in SM. Love the BYO burger options, and the bun and meat are delicious. But what really stands out are the customized milkshakes. I am a huge ice cream person, and these are genuinely some of the best milkshakes I've ever had. I try new combos every time because they're all so yummy. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try one.

I had been to The Counter once before years ago. I went back last Friday and was happy to find the same delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and excellent service. I like the build your own burger. I ordered a bison cheese burger with mixed greens and permesan fries. Everything here at The Counter is as great as it ever was. Just know if you go you will definitely be going here again.

Hit this place up for dinner a few times during my Santa Monica stay. I know they’re know for their burgers but I’m a pretty light eater so I can say the salads were big and delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive! A solid choice!

Our new favorite hamburger place. The burgers are scrumptiously delicious, flavored and seasoned with perfection. So many variations from Bison to veggie, lots of additions to make your burger POP. Excellent service, friendly staff all with the biggest smiles. We felt welcomed, not rushed. Enjoyed our meal immensely
