The Culver City Municipal Plunge

Great place for lap swimming and building endurance. The staff is generally professional, and it’s easy to make, transfer, or cancel reservations. Water is clean, and shower facilities are convenient. Parking can be limited on-site, but there’s usually street parking nearby. Grateful this kind of facility exists in the area.

We love the pool in Culver City. It is outdoor and there is very little place to find shade so bring your sunscreen. During the summer it is filled with kid, but they do have times for lap swimming, just look at their website site. It is always clean, the lifeguards are super nice. The price is fair and you can be there all day. They have a diving board and it is just fun. It has been there forever, I went there as a kid when it was 25 cents. The pool is huge and you will love it. Parking is easy in the lot for the playground which is a bit behind it. Have fun.

2 stars is not about the facility. It's about their current accessibility policy. I went to watch a water polo match and was told to watch from the street side behind a chain link fence. Only teams and coaches were allowed. Having recently had a stroke, it was challenging to traverse the grassy area and stand to get a good view. At least tell visiting teams of restrictions and that it's not ADA friendly. It would be helpful to move the bleachers outside.

A local gem. Partial saltwater pool. $4 entry, credit card accepted (must have the card). Although it says preregistration is required, you'll likely still be able to get in as a walk in. Definitely bring a small lock since lock holes are small. 25m laps on width. Recreational swimming hours (June to October) Saturday and Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Dive boards are open!

This pool is great for lap swimming and has great parking. Highly recommend this pool and they also have club swim team that practices on this site.
