The Dailey Renewal Retreat Bed and Breakfast

The Dailey retreat was a great choice. The hostess was so nice and amenable to all of the requests. She also is an amazing organic chef. I lived in Greensboro for most of my life. I now come back home to visit my family. Staying at the house is my favorite place. I’ve stayed in many different hotels and I know the city well. This retreat is a peaceful and relaxing experience. The room I stayed in was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom isn’t a concern because it was just a step from my bedroom. Fully equipped and well appointed. I would recommend staying there and not dealing with noisy guests who don’t care about the others around you. This beautiful house is charming and much more comfortable than most hotels. Jean and Herbie are great hosts. They even helped me out when I discovered I left my toothpaste! The guest house is so peaceful and quiet, perfect for rest and getting away from hustle and bustle. Very neat and clean, with nice little added touches which are very considerate. I didn’t get to sample the breakfast (my choice because sleep won out over appetite, this trip, lol), but next time I will! What a gem! And excellent hospitality to boot! Booked room via agency, received an email from the Dailey, can get a discount or lower rate, I contacted the agency, they told me Dailey said this is a ‘system problem’ no discount but need to increase prices. I was told need to pay extra 35USD per day for the balance.

If you’re looking for a place to stay nearby, stop looking and book now. This place is a gem, great location close to downtown but feels secluded. Jean was an amazing host and her breakfasts were amazing. Her recommendations for places to visit were stellar and she is very interesting to talk to. We will not stay anywhere else but here when we are in the area. Highly, highly recommend.

The Dailey Renewal Retreat is a lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Greensboro.||The major attractions for me are the other guests and the host. The conversations are always uniquely fascinating. I always find my stays there to be enjoyable and thought provoking.
