We went for an early dinner and had the entire place to ourselves. Our hamburger platters were delicious. I would have given 5 stars if we were greeted as warmly as the regular customer who came in while we were eating. Our service was good but the owner missed an opportunity to cultivate new regulars.

Absolutely awesome. Great food great service. Great outside dinning and great environment. Can't wait to go back. When you go you need to try the rice pudding.

The Daily Gourmet is a true find - a fabulous full-service restaurant tucked back off the road. It's worth keeping an eye out for it. The food is delicious. Homemade apple strudel, cherry cheesecake strudel and danish pastry are amazing. I had the sub made with house roasted beef - to die for! Others in my party had the Antonio, a top of the line Italian sub, and a chicken salad sandwich, and the cole slaw and potato salad were top notch. The French fries are off the hook - a unique cut of fresh potato, deep fried to perfection. And there's a wide range of ice cream, gelato and sundaes, although all I needed was a classic soft serve chocolate-vanilla swirl. The prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic. Wow! This place is spectacular! From the simplest of sandwiches to a more refined dish, this is an absolute must if in the area. The food is always excellent. The variety available is constantly good and changing. Prices are to be expected. The guy making the food isn't just a cook, but a real chef! I'm working in the area and have come here many times and rave about it to my friends. Ice cream, sandwiches, soups, desserts, deli meats.

The only thing that beats the sandwiches & ice cream was the owner himself. We pulled up on July 4th super excited about ice cream only to find out his shop was closed. Hearing really excited kids outside, the owner agreed to make us sandwiches AND generously scoop out some ice cream. It was one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have had. Amazing food. Excellent service.
