A must-stop every time we’re in town! We visited The Daily Paper on West Main today and had an absolutely incredible experience. What truly made the meal special was our waitress, Cassandra. She was incredibly attentive and kind, especially to my daughter, which we really appreciated. Her menu advice and personal recommendations were spot on. The food was fantastic, the portions are enormous and the menu is so well-rounded. We tried the lobster roll, burrito, French toast, and the kids' tenders, and everything was delicious. We’ve already decided that we won't be making a trip back home without stopping in here first. Ask for Cassandra if you want top tier service!
I am from Maine. We have had lobster traps. We eat a lot of lobster. This is the best lobster omelet I have ever had. This place was slamming busy but they were all friendly and very organized. Kudos to the hostess and all the staff. Impressed. Every dish in our party of 7 was outstanding.
We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Hyannis Ferry. This was by far the best breakfast place we have been to on our northeast journey. The Lobster Benedict was amazing. Perfectly prepared. My husband had the make your own omelet. We highly recommend this place 5 Stars
During my brief time at The Daily Paper, the food was reasonably seasoned and had flavor, though, the environment did affect how well I could focus on eating. The Daily Paper seems to attempt to portray a small diner that offers quick food and has a lot of Cape Cod inspired decorations, it was inviting but after some time you begin to notice the radio on in the background and all of the walls display artwork of the different Cape Cod towns which, at least for me, began to get a little overstimulating. Pricing for my meal was appropriate and seemed fair for what I had ordered. Thus it is satisfactory, but not a steal of a price. Interactions were demeaned by my server, who, seemed nice in general but was nearing the end of her shift, came off a little blunt and monotone; this threw me off a
Delicious breakfast! I had scrambled eggs, bacon, raisin toast and hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly. Coffee was great too. We came on a Tuesday in March so there was no waiting for a table, but I’m sure it’s a different story in the summer.
