The Deli in Wrens

My family always has the best time going to the deli in wrens Georgia. The small town is so friendly and the deli is no exception. The food is amazing! Truly a hidden gem and definitely a must see.

I stopped here on a whim while passing through Wrens going up from Savannah to North Georgia. I was craving a good deli and boy was a good deli delivered! It didn't look like much on the outside, but the sandwiches were GOOD! The menu was expansive, and I ordered the Cuban. Tracy (who was great btw!) was honest in telling me she hadn't tried it yet when I asked how it was. I went for it anyway and it was superb! Exactly what I wanted in a cuban sandwich. The people in my group all loved their sandwiches also. Next time I'm on the same route, I plan to stop here again!

I’ve been for lunch and dinner. Consistency is lacking. Sometimes the burgers are drowning in condiments, so much so it has to be wiped off. Other times there’s a normal amount. The taste of the burger has changed 3 or 4 times. The amount of fries seems to change also. There’s also been a number of times I’ve called and the phone has been off the hook. Multiple occasions for 20+ minutes. The sweet tea isn’t that great either. You gotta have good sweet tea and lemonade with Peggy’s right around the corner. I overheard others complain about this just today in store. The service is good just lacking consistency again. Like how when you call at lunch you have to give a name and phone number but at night time you order and they say, “Okay bye” and hang up lol. No wait time no total.

My fourth time visiting The Deli! I have visited for lunch and dinner. Today I had dinner and it was delicious, the best I’ve had so far from this place. Whoever is working tonight in the front and back does very well. My Bacon Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly with a nice toasted bun! My husband’s chicken Parmesan was superb! Will be back for Dinner!

I've been getting a turkey club from here since they opened, the past few times I go to order it they say they can't make it. I have dietary restrictions and cannot have ham. There should be no issue swapping a meat out on the sandwich, but that's beside the point (although being called "The Deli" they should be able to provide whatever 'deli' meats.) The attitude I was met with on the phone when I asked about this was horrible, she was blunt and rude and provided zero customer service. I politely asked to talk to someone else and I was hung up on. I called back and was met with "girl you're about to make me lose my religion" and "well you wouldn't listen". I was not being rude at all, having working in customer service since I could work, I understand how to navigate these conversations.
