The Den by Denny's

They had us waiting an hour for French toast and they didn’t even tell us they were out till we asked. Best tasting thing here was the ketchup. The food tasted dehydrated

I waited 30 minutes for French toast. They didn’t have any but they never told me when I was waiting for them. When I asked, they gave me 2 pancakes and said we don’t have French toast. They could have told me before instead of having me wait so long.

Do not be fooled. This is not a normal Denny's experience. The menu only has about 4 or 5 items; the online menu doesn't accurately represent what they have. The soda machine had 3 flavors that were out of order. The flavors they had available came out foamy and tasted off. (probably too much syrup) I looked at the top of the machine, and it was overflowing with ice, so I don't think anyone was maintaining it properly. I had the Grand Slam (which is Denny's signature breakfast dish), and it was waiting for me before I arrived; a staff member handed it to me immediately after I grabbed my receipt. I looked inside the Styrofoam container and the small portion of eggs were rubbery, the bacon looked like it was microwaved, and the pancakes were just okay. My buddy said his burger was dry. Ove

This place is always crazy busy, but they do such a great job of handling all of the hangry college students. This is my favorite place for food on campus. The prices are fairly inexpensive, and it is even better if you have a meal plan because then you can just use swipe-swaps. The employees here are super nice and work hard to make the food experience a great one for all customers.

They are only serving a very limited menu this year, so the general corporate Den menu linked here is inaccurate. No milk shakes also. They didn’t have anything I could eat so I had to leave, but I did enjoy this place when it first opened. The staff is fast and friendly though.
