The Dublin Village Tavern

I loved the environment and having the option to eat outside on the patio, even though inside was super cool. I think there were fairy reasonable priced options but I would definitely expect more flavor in some of the dishes like the fish and chips. The batter was perfect but there was a punch missing from the fish. It wasn’t even salted, which was a little disappointing. Fairly oily as well, so I would appreciate some time to wait for it to dry a little prior to being sent out to the table. The remaining of the dishes we had - burguers, wraps and fish burguers were also fair, but nothing fabulous or super tasty. I honestly had better. We were recommended this place to stop in and try the hooley eggs. The place was OK. The staff seemed friendly for the most part. Drinks were good, the food was interesting. We tried the hooley eggs, and they were different, but we would try them again. The beer battered bacon on the burger was another first for us. Very unique. The place seemed to have a quaint charm about it.

What a find!! My wife and I love Irish pubs and she came across this place on Google not too long after we were talking about Scotch Eggs, so we ended up stopping here for lunch. We had the "Scotch" eggs (I don't remember what their name for then was though...) the Irish (reuben) Eggroll and the Shepperd Pie. And ALL of it was fantastic.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly host and immediately felt the warm, authentic vibe of an Irish pub. I started with the pretzel bread and cheese—absolutely delicious. For my main, I had the club sandwich with a side of green beans, and everything was spot-on. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back soon to try the Shepherd’s Pie!

We started with the Irish egg rolls, which were so good we’re already planning to come back just for those. The fried cod was another standout—huge, golden pieces cooked to crispy perfection. Their sangria was a pleasant surprise too—refreshing and not overly sweet, just the way I like it. Portions were generous, leaving us full and happy, and our waitress Claire made the experience even better with her attentive and friendly service. All in all, Dublin Village Tavern hits the mark for hearty food, great drinks, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit!
