The Dumpling Wagon

The food was fantastic, high quality, with great flavors and texture, and simply delicious. The two chefs are super friendly and enthusiastically call your name out when it's ready! Great to briefly chat with them, and if I lived in the area, I would be eating there pretty much every day.

I happened to be in this area and stumbled upon this hip food truck. The food was fresh , delicious , flavorful, and overall amazing quality. Brian is super friendly and you can tell he is passionate about his business.

We were visiting Howe Caverns from out-of-state and while planning our trip I was looking for something for lunch after the mines. My husband and I both love dumplings and boy did we find some of the best! It's about 20 minutes away and WELL worth the drive. It's been a few weeks and I said to my husband this weekend that it would be worth a 3 1/2 hour drive just to have The Dumpling Wagon again... I was only half-kidding, they were that good! We will be back at some point, for sure!

The dude has NO idea how to pan fry dumplings with any sort of consistency. In our party of six, some came out barely cooked and soggy (mine), some are outright *burnt* with a thick black crust. And not a little burnt, but practically turned to charcoal on one side. Literally half of all the dumplings we ordered were wrong in some way. He was polite and the place had a cool vibe, but don't come here hungry. There is legit a 50% chance your food will be inedible.

Do NOT book this food truck. They pulled a NO SHOW at my friends daughters wedding. Canceled Leas them 48 hours of the event. No excuse, probably gonna bigger party or more money for an event. How awful.
