The Executive Diner

The place gets 5 stars based on location and how busy the place is , atmosphere is friendly and welcoming . Don’t be fooled by the labels , I’ve come in work attire and in casual clothing or maybe after church. The food is great as the wait time is not long, all comes out fresh . Ordered waffle and the 2 egg style special , the portions are big so you might want to share , unless you are really hungry ! The waffles are pretty thick and yummy ! The eggs are fresh and the grits and bacon were made to perfection ! Yummy ! Is hard to make perfect bacon !! Not burnt but crispy ! Yummy !! Cappuccinos were perfect as well! Prices are reasonable .

Located at 1400 Duke St, directly across from historic Shiloh Baptist Church, this diner serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Love the atmosphere, boothes are comfy, food is great, I enjoy breakfast or mid morning brunch. This place is super busy on Sat/Sunday. Close to King St Metro Station and minutes from Old Town Alexandria. Its a gem!

we went for lunch on Sunday. we were seated with no wait. They have an extensive menu, including all day breakfast and a specials menu. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our food was served quickly, was hot, and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Cute little Diner in the heart of Alexandria. The food was delicious. Service was a bit slow but our waitress was friendly. Definitely worth a try. The breakfast burrito was great! Kid friendly, lots of options for different tastes, clean & friendly atmosphere.

Warning: Avoid the Executive Diner ***** attention please read!!*********Don’t eat at the Executive Diner. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, paid over $20, and got the nastiest meatballs imaginable. They were dry, tasted bad, and the meat was unrecognizable. I’ve attached pictures. I had to spit them out. Honestly, I wouldn’t even feed this to a starving dog.
