Came here for a birthday breakfast and it ended up being a solid pick. I ordered the Painkiller and my boyfriend tried the XO. The biscuit on the Painkiller tasted fresh and homemade, and overall the food felt really high quality. We also ordered vanilla oat-milk lattes (his was hot and mine was iced) and loved them. We had to wait a bit to be seated even though there were a lot of open tables. The food also took awhile to come out. Everything tasted great though and made the wait feel worth it. I appreciated that the indoor seating had armless chairs that felt comfortable and accommodating, though the tables are set pretty close together. I’d happily come back next time I’m in San Diego.
Good place to go before they get fully discovered! I expect our next visit to San Diego will see lines out the door. We arrived at 9 am and were promptly seated. The service was top notch and the food was fresh and delicious. I got the XO and the brioche bun was light and thin, perfectly balanced with the rest of the sandwich. You can tell this food is prepared with care and attention. It’s the kind of meal that fills you up but doesn’t weigh you down.
I stopped by The Farmacy for a meal and to get some work done. It is a cute brunch spot with a nice outdoor patio area. The scrambled eggs were soft and buttery and the potatoes were crispy! The servers were very friendly and attentive! I would love to go back for one of their unique biscuits and gravy breakfast entrees or lunch!
Fantastic!! So happy they moved to SD. The old fashioned waffle was so so so good! The breakfast poutine was super tasty and procelleno sandwich had the best bread, pickled onions and olive promenade.
Maple Latte = terrific. Breakfast Menu = incredible. Everything house-made? no wonder that waffle hit different. Service from Lorenzo was A1, and it's great to have have a spot like this in the neighborhood. I hope this place booms.
