The Farmhouse Cafe

Fantastic hidden gem! The food was fantastic, affordable and fresh. We came late in the day, close to closing time and the staff were still so friendly and bubbly. I’d recommend coming here and then going next door for the wine tasting. All round a lovely experience and will definitely be returning!

We stopped by The Farmhouse Café for a late lunch after exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake and really enjoyed the experience. We sat outside and loved the peaceful, rustic setting surrounded by the vineyard. We ordered the French Onion Soup, Cubano Panini, 40 Creek BBQ Pork Ribs, Steak Dip Sandwich, and Dill Pickle Poutine. Everything was delicious, but special mention goes to the sandwiches — both were outstanding! We paired the meal with a bottle of local red wine from Caroline Cellars, which complemented the food perfectly. The service was friendly and relaxed, and the on-site wine shop is full of great selections. The cozy, rustic décor adds to the charm of the whole experience. A must-visit spot for a casual meal with great food and wine in Niagara-on-the-Lake. 🍷🥪🍲

We enjoyed the food, especially the burger. The crispy chicken sandwich was also good. The service was excellent, and we sat on the patio, which was spacious and perfect for a large group. The only downside was that we had to split into smaller groups of six per table.

Great wine, great food, great portions, great atmosphere. Everything is delicious, always service with a smile, fair prices. Always a positive experience.

We stopped here for lunch. I had the grilled cheese sandwich. Delicious. My wife had the French onion soup. Good but could have been hotter. Service was great and all for a very reasonable price. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it was also quite loud. If you are hearing challenged might want to avoid it at busy times. Reservation recommended.
