The Fig & Barrel Pub

We just had a belated valentines date this evening and everything was awesome! From the friendly service (our server was Rebecca!) to the delicious apps/entrees to the well crafted cocktails and mocktails, everything was truly great! We found this place through a TikTok video someone posted and wanted to try something new. We drove about 30 minutes and it was well worth it. There were so many things we wanted to try so we will definitely be back!

Entrees made up for lackluster appetizers, soup and salad but probably won’t go out of the way to return. Cute atmosphere and layout, seated quickly upon arrival. Ordered the pretzel with a side of beer cheese but as written on the menu thought it was beer cheese, and mustard, not beer cheese with mustard. It was interesting but the pretzel tasted 2-days old and was cold. Super disappointed in the pretzel not to mention the pretzel to cheese ratio was way off. We saved the beer cheese with mustard for the tots that came with the entree so that made up for the lack of pretzel. We also tried the tomato soup and Caesar salad, both were ehh - ok - wouldn’t get again. Turkey devonshire was definitely tasty and best part of the dinner. The salmon entree was ok, the Parmesan toasted tomatoes

We went for cocktails and they were delicious! A little on the pricier side, but they did have lots of cocktail options. We got seated at a table with broken/uncomfortable chairs, but otherwise enjoyed our experience!

We visited from out of state before attending a show. We walked in at 5:30 on a Saturday night without a reservation and immediately got seated (luckily at the last open table!). The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. It reminded us of a pub in a city near our original home state which added to the enjoyment. Our waiter, Callum, was fantastic! He was very friendly and extremely attentive. He greeted us promptly and made sure to notify the kitchen that we were attending a show. Our food arrived very quickly and was delicious! My wife had the tots (with cheese and bacon) and the pretzel. I had the shrimp and grits and the pear fizz mocktail. All of the food was served warm and tasted delicious! If we lived in the area, we would definitely visit often!

Charming place, I was looking to grab something to eat while on a business trip. My searching lead me here. I had a wonderful dinner and my server was on the ball. He was incredibly busy with all the tables, I sat down right before the dinner rush. My only complaint was it took almost 40 minutes to get my dessert. I had to take it to go as I spent 2 hours there already. Otherwise it was a great find and if I'm in the area again I would be sure to stop.
