The Fried Spot @ Safari on 82nd

Rockfish and shrimp were spot on. Fries were good. BUT the tartar sauce might be the best I have ever had. Place might look very appealing but it is clean and nice inside. Try it you will like it.

Was driving home from the hospital after my son had been admitted due to complications of the flu. I had heard about the food here, and thought I would stop and try it as I hadn’t eaten since 10am and didn’t want to eat fast food. It was 30 mins before close, and the food came out as fresh as if you had thought they were just opening. There was a constant line of to-go orders until close. I didn’t think I would be able to eat all the food when it arrived, as the portion was very good sized, especially for the price, but it was so good, I had soon found my plate empty.

Love the food here!! My favorite is the halibut and fries — it’s always super fresh and cooked just right. They make most of their sauces from scratch, and I can never pick just one because they’re all so good! Always hits the spot and never disappoints!

I would eat the loaded fries as every meal for the rest of my life Every thing about the food here is perfect. And the fact that it’s gluten free FRIED FOOD? Crazy. The chicken is sooo juicy and the food is always hot & fresh, I never think twice about stopping to get some food from here!!!

Thank you George (chef) for the really tasty food. From the catfish to the shrimp we really enjoyed our meals. And can't forget the banana pudding and those giant peanut butter cookies 😋 (gluten free)! Thanks also to Shirley for taking great care of us and making us feel at home.
