Customer Reviews
Amazing food and great service! The Lamb Gyro and Chicken Shawarma were delicious and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean and cozy. One of the best Halal Mediterranean spots in Oxon Hill — highly recommend!
Ordered a falafel sandwich, it was not what I was expecting, not good at all. No hummus, cilantro, tahini or tzatziki sauce, they used what appeared and tasted like mayonnaise. Chunky green peppers, very few chopped tomatoes and wilted lettuce. No Middle Eastern flavor profile present. Definitely a hard no for going back. As for the service, it was a 20 minute wait and I was the only customer there. The person working was fairly friendly.
We ordered the chicken platter, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor was very unique - not your typical platter, but in the best way possible. Highly recommend!
Nope. I was hesitant to get a lamb gyro off a food truck but I decided to give it a chance to support my community. It was disappointing. The lamb meat itself wasn't bad. So they can improve with fresh ingredients. The sandwich was so skinny. In all my years I've never had a skinny gyro. The lettuce was bad and tasted awful and the tomatoes were the same. Ugh! The sauce was just slapped on in abundance as a cover up. It wasnt delicious either. This was my first bad gyro in my life. The fries had a good flavor though. But with all this said, my overall impression was not good enough to recommend. Gotta have fresh veggies and make a good sandwich. I won't be returning... It's important to make good impressions and hv fresh ingredients and don't cut ingredients.
Put order in and had to wait over 30 minutes to get it for only a couple sandwiches. It was freezing cold outside so we had to go into the stores and keep coming back to see when it would be ready. The sandwich itself was pretty good but not very big especially for the money. Definitely would not return.
