🏆 The Gathering Cafe Downtown Ocala

Our favorite Friday morning breakfast spot! The homemade biscuits and gravy are to die for! So much flavor in everything they make. We also love the specialty lattes. Especially the seasonal themed ones! Highly recommend the Gathering Cafe for the welcoming, Christian atmosphere, and the amazing food!

From the moment I walked through the doors, the atmosphere at The Gathering Café was absolutely beautiful and welcoming. There was a genuine spirit in the space that you could feel immediately—it set the tone for an incredible experience. The staff was amazing: warm, attentive, and truly invested in making everyone feel valued. A special thank you to the general manager, Sherri, who was an absolute blessing to me and my group. Her kindness, professionalism, and heart for people made our visit unforgettable. This is more than just a café—it’s a place of connection and encouragement. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service, a beautiful atmosphere, and an uplifting experience.

My husband and I were in town visiting for the weekend and are so grateful we found this lovely place! We enjoyed the coffee and I had an iced vanilla lavender espresso. The biscuits and gravy were incredibly tasty! My husband had them with bacon and scrambled eggs. I opted for the Croffles — 2 French pastry croissants pressed into a waffle iron, topped with powdered sugar & served with maple syrup - oh my!! Everyone was super friendly and the place has an inviting and comfortable feel about it. Definitely make a stop here!

I intentionally sought out this little gem of a coffee spot because it’s Christian. We loved the atmosphere and the people. Cozy and welcoming. - We had cappuccinos, biscuits and gravy along with the burrito, all was tasty and wonderful! - They had a prayer cross for prayer requests, we found that thoughtful and took the opportunity to write our own prayers. - The Holy Spirit was moving when we had a conversation with the general manager Sherri. The Lord gave her discernment over our prayer request without even knowing. She pulled us aside and prayed over us. It was truly so powerful. Hope to visit this spot again in the future on our next travels.

Went to The Gathering Cafe downtown and it’s one of those places that just feels good the second you walk in. Bright, clean, cozy, and actually comfortable to sit for a while. Coffee was smooth, not burnt, and the food felt genuinely homemade—fresh ingredients and solid portions. Staff was friendly and patient even when it got busy, and nobody rushed us out. Great spot to meet someone, work for a bit, or just reset your day.
