The Gluten Free Treat Shop

I’ve tried so many of the treats from this shop, and every single one has been delicious. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and never once have I had anything dry or bland. They offer a great selection of cookies, cupcakes, and other goodies. The shop itself is adorable, especially around the holidays. The decorations are always charming, and the seasonal cookies are super cute. The staff has always been friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable whenever I’ve visited. Don’t let the negative reviews sway you. I really recommend stopping by the Gluten Free Treat Shop and forming your own opinion. The service was lacking and could really benefit from better customer service training or more experienced staff. The pastries weren’t anything special, similar to what you can find at most places and cheaper at the market. They were very dry and fairly tasteless, with a very small variety of options available. You can try it if you want, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit. If you have celiac disease or prefer gluten free, there are much better gluten-free options in the area, and often for less money. If you want real gluten free treats i 100% recommend Bare Naked Bakery and I’d highly recommend No Gluten Kneaded. Others good options are Sweet Surrender Bake House, and Green Street Eatery. Let me just say this is one of the best gluten-free bakeries I’ve ever been to! You’d never know the treats were gluten-free. I’m so happy to finally have a gluten-free bakery right up the block where I don’t have to worry about getting an upset stomach. They were giving out s’mores cookie samples, and wow that’s honestly the best cookie I’ve ever had! That day I picked up the s’mores cookie (of course), a pumpkin cupcake, biscotti, and the gluten-free and dairy-free dinner rolls. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious! I absolutely loved the dinner rolls, they’re soft and doughy. The bakery also had “paint-your-own” cookies, which are such a fun idea for kids! This bakery is amazing! Everything taste incredible, is soft and flavorful, and perfect! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about what they make. I recommend this bakery to everyone, even if they are not gluten free!
