The Goose American Bistro & Bar

Ok. First off, don’t go here for the food. It’s simply bad bar food with a way too long of menu. Nothing we ordered was good and the pizza should be removed from the menu because it’s legitimately a disgrace to the name. That being said, the people who work here and the bar scene are all very fun. The waiter (again, don’t worry about this because you should NOT go for the food) and bartenders are very nice. Great live music on Saturday night. We will definitely be back for the fun. But eat somewhere else first.

Food was good but service was horrendous! Server had awful attitude making our dining experience horrible. They weren’t busy so I’m not sure what happened. Calamari was delicious. Fish and chips was delicious. Chicken Milanese was one of the best I’ve had. Kids meal portions are very generous.

I went to the goose tonight and our bartender Natasha was amazing. She was super attentive and friendly! She also makes great drinks while taking care of the entire bar. Make sure you ask for Natasha when you go to the goose!

Stopped along our travels and had a wonderful lunch. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Staff was pleasant.

Our experience at Goose was deeply disappointing. The restaurant looked promising, but the execution fell far short. The halibut was completely dried out, the ribs were tough and unpleasant to eat, and even the soups tasted like they had been sitting too long. Service was slow, and there was little sign of attentive management on what appeared to be an understaffed evening. For the prices charged, the quality was hard to justify. It genuinely felt like the restaurant should not have been operating that night if this is the standard being served. What could have been a great evening instead felt like a waste of time and money. I truly hope the owner reviews what happened and makes the improvements needed — the space and menu have potential, but the experience needs to match it.
