The Grain Cafe

Wow am i happy i found this place! Stumbled across the grain cafe while looking for some vegan breakfast spots in LA and let me tell you, the gf pumpkin waffles were maybe the best waffles ive ever had! The tofu scramble, hashbrowns and vegan sausage were delicious too. I even got a vanilla latte with oatmilk and berry smoothie and everything came out quick and delicious. The staff was amazing and the restaurant itself was really interesting, nicely kept and decorated but definitely not typical of any vegan place ive been to before. I’d recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Leslie was our server and we had a great experience! Food was delicious, the homemade hot sauce was tasty and slow burning - Chilli Con Chorizo and some vegan Tres Leches to go 😍 Can’t wait to come back!

10 out of 10 experience! Cozy decor with so much culture and character, flavor packed breakfast, and warm, attentive staff. It feels like they truly care about the quality of their food. I got the gluten free pancakes and they had seasonal pumpkin flavor! With a side of tofu scramble with onions (usually tofu “egg” scramble is too soft for me so the onions made it perfectly textured!) and tempeh bacon and hash browns. Their hot sauce was house made and divine!!!

100% vegan. Great place and good vibes. They open till 10 pm during weekdays and 11 pm / 12 am during weekends.

First time coming here never trying a vegan asada burrito and I loved it! The mango michelada was so good I wish I could've finished it but it was huge! I'm definitely coming here again! The serve Juan was super nice! The atmosphere here is really good! The music level is perfect!
