The Grand Guesthouse

The manager Jonathan is outstanding, very personable. The rooms were clean, bed were outstanding. The best way to get around is bikes , I a 70 year old can do it anyone! Moe’s the best Key Lime Pie only a couple blocks away! Hope to come back again real soon!! Have # 10 ready! Thanks Jonathan for your hospitality!

Last time just before new owner took over. Coffee in breakfast area ran out of coffee that was automatically brewed. Person at desk would not rectify. New staff did not care about making return guests feel welcome. Also would not make reservations for following year for returning guests.

Stayed at the Grand Guesthouse for 2 nights, very nice place. Rooms were cozy and had everything you needed (cutlery, microwave, toiletries, etc) AC ran super cold. Breakfast had bagels, toast, variety of spreads as well as juice, milk and all day coffee available. I came back to make some coffee in the afternoon and one of the sweet ladies offered me some extra bagels and juice and spread! It was a quick walk to the bus stop for the Duval Loop but it was also from walking distance to the butterfly conservatory and Southern Point.

We went for an overnight stay at the Grand Guesthouse 9/26 as a birthday gift for my mom. Unfortunately, we had to make other arrangements due to the conditions of the room. The room had areas of mold, rust , dirt and paint peeling throughout. I shared this information and photos with the regional manager via text message who offered us the chance to look at another room but stated the rooms are non- refundable. Upon looking at the other room I shared photos of similar poor conditions. She asked if my main concern was the peeling paint which is common in high humidity areas again restating the no refund policy. We declined the second room and were able to find other accomodations. I'm including photos of some of the areas of concern in rooms #10 and #7. At no point did either staff memb
