The Green Goat

Went on Saturday (2/21/26) as group of 4 to try a new location and the experience was ok. The waitress was very good. The food opinions were mixed: the pork chop was generous portion and well seasoned; the hamburger was tasty but not hot; the Philly steak had generous portion of meat but it was not very flavorful such that I added ketchup to it; but most disappointing was that the pizza was overcooked to the point where the crust snapped like a cracker. The waitress did replace the pizza (boxed to go since it took so long to come out). I will give it another try if someone else chooses it.

Hostess was great and our server Brock accommodated my dietary needs! Great service and great food thank you for the first wonderful experience here. Will come back again

I had really high hopes for this place but unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. our server was excellent and personable, but the young man as the host was very cold to us and made us feel like our presence was a huge annoyance to him. he wouldn't speak to us directly even after I said hello. he just grabbed two menus and started walking without saying anything like "follow me". I think he hates working here. we got the eggplant fries but they had soaked up so much oil that they tasted mushy and soggy. our server said they were hit or miss with customers. my partner and I ordered separate pizzas, hers with the gluten-free crust and mine with the regular crust. I ordered the Goat pizza, with white sauce, goat cheese, bacon, and green apples and my partner ordered the Trestle pizz

Nice burger and sweet potato fries. I only had takeout. Someone in my family bought it for me. Very good though. Thank you.

Eating an affordable lunch outside on a deck with friends, in this spring weather? YES please! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, the homemade chips are always a hit. My friend ordered a pizza, and beware they are not single serving size, she had a lot to take home after and it was pretty good as well. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely (will be even better once the bridge has finished construction). Service is noticeably slower, so wouldn't recommend if you're in a hurry but was a perfect spot to catch up with friends and not feel rushed. The green goat is my go to for those perfect afternoons.
