Placed an order for the jumbo pulled pork sandwich. I didn’t know the sandwich came with fat and sauce only no meat I am extremely grossed out after biting into this sandwich. You would think I could atleast eat the side . The store insisted requested I bring this food back today out tomorrow for a refund .. she says no time limit we just need the food back for inventory 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I understand people can but you also have to value the customers that pay the bills customer lost

The chicken salad and chicken on a stick is absolutely delicious. My go to meal. There turkey legs are delicious too

I love this place. Started out using the one on Lamar that closed close to my work at FedEx. My favorites are the Chicken on a stick..the tamales and the fried okra. I'm thankful they offer delivery because it's too far for me to drive that I'm retired now. Thanks again. Eating my Chicken on a Stick now saying omg!! Only thing that was wrong was okra was not crispy but soggy. Had to put in air fryer.

Just opened at 11 and at 1:00 they're out of shrimp. I used to come here with my periodically...not often but the last time we came our rice bowls were total mush. Gave this place a loonnngg break and this was my experience today. The place is old but you could clean up! The lady at the counter was preparing to take my order and suddenly remembered they didn't have shrimp. After reading a ton of negative reviews and their lack of responses and having people to bring food filled with fat and burnt back bc of inventory, we will NOT be back. Prices are grossly inflated for the portions you receive and the pound of salt on everything. Thankfully, I didn't spend a dime. I walked out.

Placed a to-go order for an egg roll ($7), a tamale, beef brisk sandwich, and two chicken on a stick. The sandwich was very tender and tasteful. Chicken on a stick wasn’t hot or fresh, kind of dry, like it was grilled in the morning, and set out. This is the egg roll.
