The Groome Inn

We are still in the midst of our stay, so this is like a midterm review. We are so impressed with the inn. Evie, the owner/caretaker was there to greet us after a long trip. So easy going and kind, she showed us to a beautiful room that was so comfortable. She recommended some places to eat and gave us the quiet solitude we needed to rest. She made a delicious breakfast of eggs and blueberry pancakes and a fresh fruit cup. We went out for the day and returned to freshly baked cookies along with the breakfast menu for tomorrow. Great place to stay!

I’ve attended two weddings here. The venue is lovely and intimate. The wedding took place in a garden corridor. The bride entered down the beautiful curved staircase and then walked down the aisle. The bride and groom recited vows under a beautiful lush green arbor which was an amazing backdrop. The house was spacious and charming. Dinner was served after the wedding while photos of the wedding party were underway. We danced the night away with the DJ outside under the beautiful lights. When it was time to rest we sat on the wrap around porch in front of a water fountain. It’s a great place to attend an event. The wedding party stayed in the house through the weekend. There are 5 rooms and they were each unique. The rooms were all spacious and the bathrooms in each room were custom and l

My husband and I stayed at The Groome Inn in November 2018 for our 1st wedding anniversary. We were able to stay in the bridal suite, which was lovely! We recommend this place to all our friends. From the view of the beautifully lit property as we drove up the driveway after dark to the comfortable bed and cozy fireplace in our room, the accommodations were romantic and enjoyable. The breakfast, cooked for us by the innkeeper, was delicious. We were greeted and treated with warmth and friendliness and we hope to stay here again in the future!

We stayed at The Groome Inn for two nights and it was an absolute delight! The Inn is fabulous, very cozy, very well kept, and has areas to sit down and relax everywhere. Very peaceful and the room was fabulous. The breakfast was very good and food quality and temperature were way above average. I loved the Miele coffee maker and have a great selection of wines and beers. Access to the interstate within 5-10 minutes made it very easy to visit our trip locations. ||||Highly recommended for families and travelers who are visiting the markets at High Point! If you are visiting the markets at High Point, paying big dollars for bad hotels and overprized hotel properties, you are wasting your money. You should stay here!

The Groome Inn is truly such a unique and beautiful home away from home, and me and my boyfriends stay was 5 stars all around!! The staff are absolutely wonderful, the beds are some of the comfiest I have ever slept on, and the breakfast was out of this world! The entire house is truly as beautiful as the pictures look, and Elizabeth was so kind, and took such great care of us. Such a romantic place, We will definitely being staying again very soon!!
