The Gyro Spot NC

Great customer service! I would recommend getting the Tirokafteri (spicy cheese) as a side/appetizer! Pita bread alone was so fresh and fluffy. The chicken gyro was great! The fresh and crisp bites of tomatoes and onions paired with the chicken. Yummy.

Its a nice Greek place, food was ok kinda of plain but the star of the show was the Hummus. That was the best I have had. They make it themselves. My husband had a gyro and said it was delicious. There are not many Greek food places around so if you would like some this place isn't to bad.

Food was amazing! Staff were friendly too. Even checked in on me to see how I liked the food. Glad to see the place is still here. Haven't been in a while. Definitely recommend

I was excited to try this place, but it ended up being disappointing. My gyro was mostly bread with barely any chicken, and the chicken that was there was dry. The food overall was pretty bland, which was surprising for a Greek restaurant where you usually expect bold flavor. I also ordered the lemon rice soup and the portion was extremely small. For a $20 meal, I honestly left hungrier than when I came in. It felt more like a lunch special portion, but it wasn’t priced that way. Unfortunately, the portion sizes and flavor just didn’t make it worth the money.

I have a gluten allergy and wanted to comment on my experience here. Overall the food is DELICIOUS. The gluten free pita was so good, I’m honestly worried I didn’t even receive the right pita. The only reason I’m rating 3 stars is because I have heard about so many good experiences here with no cross contamination, and that they had a separate station and knowledge of celiac and gluten sensitivities. I got sick after eating here unfortunately, which I am disappointed about because the food was just so good. Especially the hummus!! I am understanding though that there won’t a 100% certainty of no cross contamination, but wanted to share my experience for any other people like me to just be cautious.
