The Harp

I love The Harp! I love the food. My favorite dish is the monkfish in cream sauce but I recommend the smash burger, fish and chips and vegetable crouquettes. I love the drinks. My favorite is the Manhattan. The owners are very friendly and the servers are knowledgeable about the food and super friendly. I love that The Harp is in my neighborhood. If you're in Brookland, stop by for a great time.

A fantastic new restaurant in the neighborhood featuring delicious Irish delicacies and a spectacularly dense bar and liquor menu. Has a great outside patio which is dog friendly (for friendly dogs) and a nice outdoor and indoor bar to sit at! What's not to love? We had the carrot appetizer which was really delicious! The espresso martini is on the sweeter side and we enjoyed the IPAs. Top notch fish and chips were the star of the meal! Highly recommend stopping in!!

Amazing experience at The Harp! Staff was great with us. We had some delicious food and the beer great. Great pint of Guinness! Irish whiskey selection was excellent as well. Games were playing and vibes were friendly all around! Great happy hour overall and we ended up staying late!

I’m so glad this restaurant came in to the neighborhood the food is absolutely amazing!! We had the carrots, smash burger, and fish and chips. All were delicious but the fish and chips in particular blew us away, the fish was perfectly cooked and amazingly crispy. Can’t wait to come back!

Insane beer selection, food excellent. GET THE BURGER!!! Service was prompt and friendly, I never felt like I was looking for my server. It was very busy on Thursday but they seemed to have the perfect amount of staff on hand. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and helpful on my whiskey choice and guided my to choose a Teeling that I’ve never tried before. I was surprised how reasonable the food prices were specifically since Everywhere else in DC seems to be cost me $200 for a mediocre dinner.They also had solid music playing from rock, to hip hop, to live Irish music on Thursday, it doesn’t seem like a corporate spot playing the same pop hits over and over. This is a must for anyone who is wanting to find their next cozy and inviting pub.
