The Hen and Hog Breakfast & Brunch in Pompano Beach, Florida

Staying in Pompano for a short time and was looking for breakfast spot. Found the perfect place in the Hen and the Hog. My wife had a veggie omelet and I had blueberry pancakes. Both were very good. The pancakes were not as flavorful as I would like, but still pretty good. My wife's omelet was cooked perfectly and she said it tasted amazing. The decor fit the name and the service was good with 3 wait staff making sure everyone was taken care of. Coffee was inconsistent in flavor from one pot to the next, but it also was good. I would recommend stopping in if you are looking for a good breakfast spot with a variety of options.

Decided to randomly grab brunch here since I had the day off. A friendly hostess led me to the counter seating where service would be quicker. A full house, but they work through customers kindly! All the food pictured turned out really good and tastes fresh. My server Mauricio was a pleasure and I recommend this place for anyone in the area to try.

It was our first time here today and the food inserted were exceptional! We had Lizzie as our waitress and she was amazing too! We ordered eggs, Benedict, a Greek omelette, the prime rib, special, and a banana walnut pancake. Everything was exceptional, even the coffee! We highly recommend and will definitely return!

First time coming here and service was awesome. Our waitress Lizzie was super sweet and attentive. She greeted us with a happy smile and attitude which is very appreciated and not often seen at some restaurants nowadays. Food was good, but the chicken from my chicken and waffles was a bit dry for my taste. But still, overall good, as I enjoyed my Belgium waffles. YUM. Would definitely come back here and try other things on the menu. Definitely a place to recommend to my friends!

Hello fam! I went with my lovely sister to The Hen and The Hog, and I need you to treat yourself to this place. From the moment you’re seated to the moment your food hits the table, the whole experience is just amazing. The Shrimp & Grits is an absolute must, you cannot go wrong with it. The Nutella French Toast was also really good and definitely worth trying. And do yourself a favor: ask for STEPH. She’s one of the nicest, most professional servers I’ve ever met and made our visit even better. Sharing some pics so you can see what you’re in for!
