The Heritage Grille & The Wine Barrel

My husband and I spent Valentine’s Day here and had a wonderful experience. Despite arriving a little early, we were seated immediately. Our waitress, Brittany, was fantastic—incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening. ​For appetizers, we enjoyed the crab cakes and a Caesar salad with chicken. For the main course, we had the ribeye (the mashed potatoes were amazing!) and the chicken breast with a delicious mushroom sauce, roasted potatoes, and veggies. The portions were so generous we couldn't finish everything, but the leftovers were just as good today. Truly a little gem for a special night out!

Quietly tucked away in a plaza off of Roger's Road, The Heritage Grille offers a comfortable, upscale atmosphere for lovers of fresh food. Given it's mid-town, modern atmosphere, drinks, music and food, you'll leave satisfied and ready to plan your next trip. I'm a lover of music and selection was carefully curated so to compliment the atmosphere and cuisine. My reservation was on a Tuesday around 5:30pm which allowed me privacy and a semi-quiet climate to enjoy my dinner. The restaurant is quiet and we'll appointed. The food is good but not great. We were starved when we got there abd asked about bread. We were told we could get 3 sliced of baguette for $2. Pass. We ordered the fried green tomatoes. They were good. The slaw that came with it was not. We got the garden side salads. They are pretty but there were large chucks of purple onion in the center. I was able to substitute blue cheese dressing. I got the veal parmesan. The portion size was generous but the veal was overcooked and a bit tough and the pasta could have used a bit more sauce. It would also have been nice to have freshly ground pepper and some parmesan cheese but that wasn't an option. It's just a few little things that could have improved the experience for me. Excellent experience with a team dinner last week. The staff was very hospitable and created a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, well crafted and served quickly! Looking forward to trying out there many specials the next time we come back. Highly recommend!

very nice! came here for mothers day a few times, and it is just beautiful. the menu has a good selection too, and it is just a wonderful experience. i could not find much on the menu as someone with sensory issues with many foods and textures, but food was still good either way.
