The Heritage Trail Inn

Glenda and Eddie offer outstanding accommodations. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is fantastic, and true to form they are great people. 5 stars if you are traveling through Paw Paw or if you are riding your bike along the C&O Towpath.

We stayed here midweek towards the end of September and found the place wonderful. They had a hose to wash all the dirt off the bikes (it had been raining) Our room had a mini split unit so we can control the air temperature. The best part was the host actually cooked breakfast. All the other so-called B&B left food for guests to make. It was nice to have a local to talk to. I learned that Paw Paw is the name of the fruit. The host explained how to find it and eat it, and we did come across a tree.

highly recommend staying here! the hosts are so gracious and sweet. the house is newly renovated, very clean, and has many of the original features. the breakfast is delicious, there is a comfy common space, and a lovely kitchen. i really enjoyed my night in paw paw and meeting folks from the town. the inn is a short bike off the c&o.

We were so thankful to have found this spot! Glenda was such a flexible host, breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfy, and we got to wash our clothes! It was really easy to get to Paw Paw from the C&O which we were thankful for. Highly recommend stopping here on your GAP-C&O trip!

Glenda took great care of us!!! The place was updated, very nice and clean. Great service and great value. The hot breakfast was wonderful. Can’t recommend it any higher than I did. Good choice.
