The Hickory Tree Grill

My daughter treated me to this place today. She highly recommended it and even knew exactly what to order, me, on the other hand I needed a lot of time to read over the menu a few times. Last time she went she had the new Cajun Pasta and Hotzerella Sticks and today she ordered the same cheese sticks and chips n salsa then for our main meals she got The Hickory Tree Grilled Cheese which is made with pulled pork and macaroni and cheese on texas toast and I got the meatloaf dinner which was also offered as a sandwich which would've been good too. Everything was good, when I go back I want to get the pulled pork too!

Bottle and draught options far out pace the other local eateries brewski offerings. That's probably the nicest way I can say downtown Joshua doesn't deserve a place this drippy. Food review... Smoked Meatloaf: Conway Twitty ate a plate of this meatloaf after writing Tight Fittin' Jeans. HT Loaded Potato: (4.4/5) Spuds not duds is tattooed on my mothers upper left bosom for a reason. We were raised on baked taters. So when I say if you feed one of these to your son for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 18 years it will make him a #1 draft pick in the NFL you can bet I'm telling the gods

Great atmosphere! Great prices! (Happy hour is awesome) and the best brisket quesadilla I have ever had!! Angie (bartender) has the best attitude and customer service! Thank you HT!!! 1 is missing because I ate it and was already full lol

We had lunch here on New Year day 2026. I had a chicken sandwich. And a Bloody Mary. Everything was excellent. Service was really good, we didn’t wait long for the food. Thanks for a nice start to the new year.

Food was amazing, service 10/10! The Mac and cheese sandwich with pulled pork is chefs kiss! The brisket nachos were to die for! Happy hours prices were what they were 15years ago! Beers under $3 and margs were delicious!
