Customer Reviews
This was my first meal in the area as we were traveling to Fernandina Beach for a long weekend visit. This was the BEST fried shrimp I had during my weekend - and I tried lots of shrimp. Highly recommend.
Wow the service was great, food was great, the seating outside was great, and the value of quality for the price was more than great!!!The two stray cats they fed outside was the cherry on top, very sweet kind people. Would recommend.Sea food boil was very flavorful and the crab cakes were very good and food was filling.
In town for a little league baseball tournament, saw the reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Don’t judge when you see that this place is unassuming, behind a gas station. The decor is very plain like an old diner. But I’ll tell you what - if this place was in my area I would be 500 lbs. The menu said it had the best friend chicken in the county - they lied - it’s the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and I should know as this is my go to at every restaurant. Their biscuits are truly homemade - I could eat 10. My kids had the seafood boil and ate them all up. Loved it. Kim was a wonderful, attentive, friendly waitress. I felt like my aunt was bringing us food. This place is a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back to Amelia island just to eat here again.
Good job to the owner and staff. Stop no further for seafood boil! My teen is an expert when it comes to seafood boil as this is his go-to dish. He said this crab boil with corn, potato, and sausage blew away his favorite place in South Carolina. 🦀 He felt the crab was very well cooked, flavorful, and fresh. My husband enjoyed his shrimp boil as well. The crab cakes were okay, and the cole slaw and potato fries were delicious. Slaw is a favorite, and that may be one of the best I've had. With a relaxed, casual atmosphere, you can kick back and enjoy your meal and enjoy the music playing in the background. The inside has two TVs and a full bar with lots of seating, booths, and tables. The outside has spacious, relaxed seating. Turn into the gas station and drive behind to the restauran
Great food, great service! Local spot "Hidden" behind the gas station. You can sit outside on their covered deck or inside. They also have a bar area. It was our first and definitely won't be our last time eating here. Everything we ate was delicious and what we expected from a seafood place. Our kids are picky eaters and they even loved their food. We will be returning!
