The Honey Baked Ham Company

I have been buying honey baked ham for over 25 years, 15 to 20 every year for my employees, never have I had a ham so smokie that it is almost uneatable. It does not have the sweetness that made it different from all the heavy smoked hams on the market. I also purchased a ham bone to make soup, I am really hoping it will be better with that honey flavor I enjoy. I could have bought one from HEB with the same results. It the ham bone is the same, I will never buy one again.

I’m not much into sandwiches, but I have to say that today I was very impressed and pleased with the food. Mom and I tried chicken salad sandwich and roasted turkey sandwich, and their broccoli salad. Don was very kind and nice recommending their best selling items. Although I don’t live too close, I’m definitely coming back. We took some ribs and broccoli salad home for dinner.

What is the point of placing an order 3 weeks ahead of time if they aren't going to reserve a large ham for you? Then to tell me that there has been a rush on them on walk-in orders today really makes me angry. How about holding enough large hams to satisfy the people that actually thought about RESERVING ONE. I won't be wasting my time at this location ever again and will be writing corporate. Now I will have hungry people at my table for Thanksgiving.

On any other year I would give 5 stars. The staff is helpful. We just got a ham at Thanksgiving, it was delicious. I guess they were due for a dud. The ham we received had very little glaze and it seemed somewhat overcooked. I'm hoping will have better luck at Easter

We always go to Honey Baked Ham during Thanksgiving. We make the ham and bean soup and it's always delicious! The ham is so tasty. Love this place!
